100+ follower giveaway

Yes, that's right.  Over the weekend I reached the 100 follower mark and wanted to say thank you!  I [heart] my followers.  How about we celebrate with a little FQ giveaway?  These yummy Michael Miller fabrics would be a perfect Valentine's Day surprise. 



Here's how to enter:

1.) Leave a comment telling me what your favorite sewing tool is. (1 entry) 
My favorite is my Clover seam ripper.  It's the cadillac of all seam rippers. :)

2.) Become a follower of Canoe Ridge Creations and leave a comment
telling me so (or let me know you already are one). (1 entry)

3.) "Like" Canoe Ridge Creations on Facebook 
and leave a comment telling me. (1 entry)

Entries will be open until Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM CST.

The winner will be chosen by a Random Number Generator
and announced on Friday, February 4, 2011.

    My favorite sewing tool is my rotary cutter. I don't understand how anybody made quilts before they were invented. : ) I cut with scissors as infrequently as possible!

    Congratulations! My favorite sewing tool is a Sewline Fabric Pencil. It has interchangeable colored "leads" and it works like a champ!

    My fave is the auto needle threader on my sewing machine...I have such a hard time threading my needles now. My next purchase will be the threader for hand needles...my eyes are just going...

    I would have to say that my favorite sewing tool is my laptop! :o) It's always there to find a tutorial, or answer a question, or provide inspiration, or to make a big hole I fall into reading blog after blog after blog. :o)
    Other than that, I'd say my Clover mini-iron. It gets H-O-T, and makes great little seams.

    Congrats on 100!!! My favorite notion has to be my thread snipper scissors. I got them for like $1 at hobby lobby, and now I have about 5 pairs because they are always the ones I reach for (even when my ginghers are right next to me!)

    And as for my favorite tool--I have a new one. For Christmas my Mr. got me a lightweight (glass-filled nylon) pair of Gingher shears--apparently Gingher markets them as paper-cutting shears, but our quilt shop sells them. And they are PERFECT for keeping next to the sewing machine for quick thread-clipping and dog-ear-trimming.

    My fiskars scissors are my favorite. They are cute, cut well, and are small enough to be allowed in carry on luggage.

    My favorite tool should be my seam ripper since I use it so much, but I'd say my ruler and rotary cutter because cutting is what I hate the most (besides basting...) and if I had to do it with scissors I'd want to hurt myself!

    and my favorite tool would be my little toolbelt i wear when I'm quilting. I keep my scissors, seam ripper, marking pens, and lint brush in there ready to whip out whenever i need them!
