it has been months and months since my last WiP Wednesday post. in fact the last time i participated was way back in march, right about the time i had to go back to work. wowza, time flies! it's almost hard to believe! so i've decided to get back into the swing of things, especially now that my "off season" is just getting started. but with one rule, out with the old and in with the new. i'm scrapping my old projects and starting new this week. so here we go....
<<finished>>
i really enjoy participating in online flickr swaps and my favorite of all is the pretty {little} pouch swap! for round 3 i made this little zipper pouch using essex linen/cotton blend and a rainbow of cotton fabrics.
light box.
with winter settling into iowa and the days rapidly shortening, there's not a whole lot of daylight to take pictures so i made my own light box. i can't wait to start using it more!

i gave a new quilting design a try this week and LOVED it! it will most definitely be showing up in more of my projects.
i have fallen back in love with knitting. it's so relaxing and a fun change of pace!
"my creations" blog page.
at some point over the summer, i fell behind on updating my blog page where i showcase my finishes. and man is it hard to get a handle on something once you have started to slip! but it's all done, all of my creations in one place!
<<new>>
i've been working on a new christmas mini quilt using red and green fabrics (but not holiday fabric!) for myself after being inspired by this bee block i made. it's all done, just waiting for a photo shoot!
