here's to 2012.

did you do anything fun to bring the in new year? the BF and i just wore sweat pants, stayed home, and relaxed. he watched a little TV and fell asleep by 10 while i stayed up and rang in the new year with a new pdf quilt pattern. wait, what?!?! yep, that's right! it's always been a goal of mine and i thought it was a great way to start the year off right. so at midnight CST i was at my computer, putting the finishing touches on my first quilt pattern (available in the shop soon!). completely with easy to read, colorful diagrams! and i realized i LOVE writing quilt patterns. almost more than actually sewing the quilt, shhh! :)

so here's to 2012! and hopefully a wonderful year full of quilty opportunities!

    Sounds like a great way to spend the new year to me! I was also sewing and watching telly, what rock and roll lifestyles we lead ;o)
