hey there friends! 

it's time for another weekly dose of modern sewing! 

:) 

first off, i just want to say THANK YOU for all of the kind words+comments+emails regarding my first PDF quilt pattern. words can't express how much this truly means to me. and i apologize if i haven't responded back to each one of you personally, but i promise i will! this past week+weekend completely flew by and i feel a bit bogged down by emails, but i am slowing climbing out! :) 


now onto the good stuff, the sewing! lately i have been a bit obsessed with the linen+cotton blend fabric that's out there (i use essex!). it is wonderful to work with and i love its organic look. it really is a fun change of pace from the normal designer cotton fabric i usually use in my projects. 

this time i decided to pair the linen+cotton blend fabric with a light weight denim to make a chic little pouch. the bold and modern design of this pouch makes me swoon! not to mention that lime green zipper. can you tell i'm sort of in love with this pouch?
