Happy Thursday, ya'll. We are moved. We are unpacked (for the most part!). And I've been sewing up a storm. Lots of new projects + tutorials + inspiration headed your way! xo, Megan.
That looks beautiful! Can't wait to see more of it! I just got a Virtuosa second-hand off Craigslist, but I'm a little intimidated and keep sewing on my mechanical Janome instead of learning it. I'm kind of POd about the bobbin case issue too. I need to get past that. :)
Your strait line sewing looks perfect! I've been wanting to try it, but not sure where to start. Do you sew all you lines in the same direction(ie. top to bottom)? Or do you sew them one way then filp the quilt and go the other way(ie. top to bottom, next row bottom to top)?
This is such a yummy and simple quilt, I must make one for me! And I was so excited to see your Bernina... I have a Virtuosa 160 and it never seems to be a machine other people use. I do wish I was a quilter back when I bought it, and I probably would've gotten this exact one.
look at all of those gorgeous straight lines! i have been craving some quilting time.
ReplyDeletePretty in pink! :)
