I've actually decided to give instructions for both the original Giant Starburst & an alternate design. Two patterns are better than one, right?! I'll be quilting along with you with using the Giant Starburst Version 2 using a selection of solids in blues, greens, and purples!

This looks like a lot of fun! I can wait to see what fabrics people choose!

ReplyDeleteI love "Version 2"! I can't wait to join in!
ReplyDeleteI won't be able to get to this until after the holidays, but this is awesome. Thank you for sharing the pattern and I will definitely be watching the quilt along!!!
ReplyDeleteQuestion: How much fabric would I need if I wanted to do each point a different color? I was thinking 1/2 yard each would be plenty. Is that enough?
ReplyDeleteI just have to do both! Fabrics ironed and ready!
ReplyDeleteI ordered my fabric yesterday and I am excited to get started. I hope I can keep up between work and kids!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to do #2 with all scraps from my stash!
ReplyDeleteOooh! I really want to play along and make this as a Christmas gift - but that means I can't post progress to social media :(
ReplyDeleteI'm going to do version 2 with scraps.
