Here's to 2014.

Instagram is my happy place. I love it really. In an instant I can share a peek into my sewing studio, my latest project, etc., and what's even better is that I can interact with all of you in real time. I love that about Instagram. The downside is that sometimes I forget about blogging. And to be completely honest, sometimes it makes me not want to blog. Instagram is the easy, instant way out of blogging. I've been struggling with that for the last few weeks, and have inadvertently "taken a break" from blogging. Instead I've been sewing. LOTS actually! And much to my surprise, the little break in blogging has been a breath of fresh air. It's allowed me to focus on what I want to share here on the blog -- tutorials, projects, patterns, but most importantly INSPIRATION. Here's a little peek at what I've been working on, I'll be sharing full details of each & every project in the New Year.

For those of you who are taking part in the Giant Starburst Quilt Along, I'll be posting a big wrap up post in the next few days. Thanks to everyone who's quilted along with me -- your quilts inspire me!

Here's to 2014, it's going to be a GREAT year!

xo, Megan

  3. I know what you mean about Instagram versus blogging. I just recently signed up for Instagram and love how quick and easy it is. It's like having a mini-blog.
I'll keep following you in either place! Have a Happy Holiday!

  7. I am really bad about blogging and I wish I knew what to do to get back to it! I loved it for so long, but I agree that instagram is just so easy. I am finding that since my iphone is broken, I am missing instagram a lot! But it is also making me realize that I have a camera. LOL

  8. I was following along with the Giant Starburst QAL. In this post you said you'd be sharing the rest of the QAL in a few days. Did I miss it somehow? I got the Basic Construction and the Fabric Requirements and Cutting but nothing after that. Surely hope you are just caught on Instagram and not ill. Still waiting. :)
